Spiti Valley is a Himalayan desert mountain valley situated at an average height of 13,000 feet in the north-eastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
Spiti Valley is a cold mountain desert located in the rain shadow region of the Greater Himalayan ranges. It is snuggled in the north-eastern part of Himachal Pradesh.The valley is bordered by the districts of Kinnaur in the south-east, Kullu in the south, and the valleys of Zanskar and the Union Territory of Ladakh in the north. In the east, Spiti shares its boundary with Tibet (China).
Spiti Valley serves as both a research hub and a cultural center for Buddhists, drawing visitors with its unique attractions. Among its highlights is the Key Monastery, renowned as one of the world’s oldest monasteries and a personal favorite of the Dalai Lama.

Detailed Itinerary :
On arrival, transfer to Shimla at 9:00am
After breakfast, we start to explore Sarahan. En-route visit Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda, all famous for their scenic beauty. Sarahan is surrounded by apple orchards. From Sarahan, you can witness the Shrikhand Mahadev Peak .Then visit the holy temple of Goddess Bhimakali. This temple is a wonderful mixture of Buddhist and Hindu architecture. Later, drive to Sangla, the most beautiful valley of Himachal Pradesh. Sangla Valley is known as the "Apple Orchard of India" due to its high-quality apples. The valley attracts adventure enthusiasts with opportunities for trekking, camping, and river rafting.
Overnight in Sangla.
After breakfast we will visit Sangla to Nako. Nako has a beautiful lake which freezes in the winter and villagers play ice hockey during this period. Visit the temple of Padamsambhava, the second incarnation of Lord Buddha, who made Buddhism popular in the trans Himalayas. Also, visit the 1000yr old Nako monastery. . There is a water fall nearby which has snow water falling like a river of milk. We will stop at Nako village where you can see the famous Nako lake.
Overnight in Nako.
After breakfast we will visit the highly revered, Gue mummy which is a naturally mummified body of Sangha Tenzin a Budhist Monk. Further head towards Tabo. Tabo village is also famous for its caves (Tabo caves) which can be seen from the village. After visit to Dhankar, is a very beautiful village which has also a Gompa, a Bhudhist Temple, Key Monastery, Tangyud Monastery in Spiti, and Thisktse, Likir, Rangum Monasteries in Ladakh are famous tourist spots here. Dhankar Lake is also having stunning view and place of people most attraction in Dhankar. In the evening, a short trek in the Dhankar Lake (1 Hrs). Overnight in Dhankar
After breakfast we will visit to Mud village in Pin Valley. Pin Valley is the starting point for some very popular treks like the Pin Bhabha Pass and Pin Parvati Pass. You can enjoy sightseeing on the way to Mud village. Another beautiful village to look for on the way to Mud is the Sangnam village.
Overnight in Mud.
After breakfast we will visit to Kaza. Kaza is the subdivisional headquarters of the remote Spiti Valley in the Lahaul Spiti District. Bhuddhist religious people and temples can be main attraction of here. The oldest caves on barren mountains and beautiful thangka paintings, one of the most precious paintings of Buddhism. Overnight in Kaza.
Explore the surroundings of Kaza today. Start with the iconic Key Monastery & checkout the famous Chicham Bridge.The Chicham Bridge is one of the highest (Altitude) bridges in Asia and is situated 5 kms ahead of Kibber village. Further head to explore the nearby villages of Langza (The fossil village), Komic, & Hikkim. Each of these villages are famous for special reasons. Hikkim claim to have the worlds highest post office. Komic is the worlds highest village to be connected with a motorable road. While Langza is known as the Fossil village of India due to the abundance of marine fossils found here.
Overnight in Kaza.
After Breakfast, proceed for the famous Kalpa town in the Kinnaur district, check in to hotel and have lunch at the hotel and in the evening visit the famous Chandika Mata Temple and Chandika fort and visit the famous Suicide Point of kalpa and enjoy the Divine view of Mt Kinner Kailesh Ji Range, Dinner and Night halt at Kalpa.
After Breakfast proceed for Shimla, Enroute lunch will be provided at the hotel at Jeori, than proceed for the famous destination Shimla, Rest and enjoy your Dinner at the Hotel.
